Privacy policy

This policy explains what Wellsy collects through joinwellsy.com, why we collect it, who we give it to, and the choices you have. It covers this website, affiliate registrations, partnership applications, and the text messages and emails we send about membership. It does not cover the medical record your care team keeps once you are a member. That record is handled under separate notices you receive when you enroll.
Who we are
Wellsy, LLC is an Arizona company offering a home-visit primary-care membership in the East Valley. Wellsy is a membership, not an insurance plan. This website is a marketing and waitlist site. Questions about this policy go to hello@joinwellsy.com.
What we collect
We collect information to answer your requests, hold your waitlist place, register affiliate accounts and review Creator Partner applications.
- Information you give us when you join the waitlist. Your full name, your home ZIP code, how many people are in your family, and an email address and a mobile number. Your contact details and contact preferences are saved when you continue from the first step, even if you do not finish the later steps. Your street address, city, state and at least one care interest picked from a short list are required to complete your record. A referral or partner code and apartment or unit details are optional. Anything you write to us by email.
- Affiliate registration collects your name, email address and phone number. Creator Partner applications also collect your profile or website link, location and a description of your local audience. We record the offer terms and version, the application consent wording and version, and the submission time. We also record your separate partner SMS choice, the exact wording shown, its version, your phone number, the page, submission time, IP address and browser information. Please do not include patient information or personal medical details.
- Referral activity. When someone opens a member's or partner's share link, we record the code in the link, a scrambled (hashed) form of the IP address, the browser user agent, the referring page and the campaign values in the link. Member share links and reviewed partner profiles may show the referrer’s first name. Self-registered affiliate names are not shown on the public invite page.
- Consent records. The waitlist uses one required consent checkbox for email, phone and text contact. We record your choice, the date and time, the exact wording and version, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser user agent. We keep this so we can show what communications you requested. Partner marketing-text consent remains separate and optional.
- Campaign attribution. The utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term values in the link you arrived on, so we know which ad or email brought you here.
- Technical information. Your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view, collected automatically when you use the site.
The waitlist form requires at least one care interest, such as everyday family care, a new baby, weight loss or hormones. This choice can indicate something about your health. We use it to prepare for your enrollment conversation. We do not ask for symptoms, diagnoses or test results. Please do not send those or any other health details through the waitlist form or by text message.
Why we collect it
- To hold your waitlist spot and tell you when membership opens in your area.
- To confirm your home is inside the launch service area.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To register and operate affiliate accounts, track referrals and rewards, review Creator Partner applications and contact you by email about your account or application. Providing a phone number, registering or applying does not opt you into text messages. Partner offers and promotions require the separate optional partner SMS opt-in.
- To send the text messages you asked for, if you asked for them.
- To understand which marketing worked, in aggregate.
- To keep the site secure and to meet our legal obligations.
We rely on your consent for text messages and for non-essential cookies. Everything else we do is to provide the service you asked for or to run the business responsibly.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses a small amount of browser storage (session storage) to remember the campaign link you arrived on and, if you came through someone's share link, that referral code and the first name of the person who shared it, so your signup is credited correctly. These values stay in your browser for that tab and are cleared when you close it. The referral code is also cleared once you join.
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Analytics tells us how many people did something, never who you are. You can block cookies and site storage in your browser settings; the site still works.
We do not sell your information, and we do not run cross-site advertising trackers on this site.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose. We share it only in the limited situations below.
- Service providers who run the site for us. Website hosting, database storage, email delivery, text-message delivery and analytics vendors process information on our behalf, under contract, only to perform the service we hired them for.
- Our care team. If you enroll, the information you gave us moves into your member record so your clinicians can care for you.
- Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a person or the integrity of our systems.
- A business transfer. If Wellsy is acquired or merges, your information may transfer with the business, subject to this policy.
Service providers are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing, and they are not permitted to sell it.
SMS / Text Messaging
The patient waitlist SMS program is separate from partner SMS offers. Partner registration requires a contact phone number, but marketing texts remain optional. Partner SMS offers have separate terms below; patient SMS consent does not opt you into partner promotions.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
The waitlist form requires an email address, a phone number and one consent to email, phone and text contact about signup, enrollment, services and offers. This is a condition of joining the waitlist, not a condition of purchasing membership or receiving care. You may later unsubscribe from emails, ask us to stop calling, or reply STOP to texts. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Full program details are in our SMS program terms.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until membership opens in your area and for up to twenty-four months after that, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.
Records of text-message consent and opt-out are kept for at least four years after the consent ends, because federal telemarketing rules require us to be able to show them. Technical logs are kept for up to twelve months.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. This does not affect your waitlist spot, your membership or your care.
- Unsubscribe from email using the link at the bottom of any message we send.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@joinwellsy.com and we will respond within forty-five days.
- Block cookies and site storage in your browser at any time.
We will never discriminate against you, charge you a different price or give you a lesser service because you exercised any of these rights.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen through this site. A parent or guardian enrolls children in a family membership. If you believe a child gave us information here, write to hello@joinwellsy.com and we will delete it.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Waitlist submissions are written to an access-controlled database, and only people who need it can read it. No system is perfect, so we also keep the amount we collect small on purpose.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messages will be described here before they take effect.
